This multifaceted position combines membership administration tasks with proactive engagement initiatives and database management, allowing you to make an impact across the entire membership lifecycle. Responsibilities include:
- Responding to member queries via phone and email, including routine follow-up calls
- Processing membership applications and payments.
- Processing and being responsible for membership wide payment runs. These payment runs can be quite substantial. You will be all accountable for payment runs you complete.
- Updating member records in our CRM (iMIS) accurately and efficiently.
- Conducting data integrity checks, rectifying errors, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Generating routine and ad-hoc reports.
- Proactively engaging members at all stages of the membership, driving member retention and satisfaction.
- Assisting with planning and implementing of outbound call/contact campaigns and engagement initiatives.
- Collaborating with team members to optimise workflows and automate tasks.
- Supporting branch staff across all membership processes including maintaining membership records.
Skills and Experience
You'll ideally have worked in a membership or customer/client services team, potentially in a union or member-based organisation. You'll have a knack for picking up new systems and workflows, and come to work with a continuous improvement mindset. You enjoy understanding systems and processes, and digging into data to find opportunities for improvement.
